Classifieds Update
Phase 1 of the WarrenToday Classifieds is now complete and open for all users to place your
Ads. Future versions will require a user logon to place Ads. This will help ensure that the
classifieds are not misused or attacked by automated systems. It will also allow
you to update your Ad at any time it is active, including removing it when your item has sold.
Future versions
may also allow communication between Seller and Buyer without displaying
contact information from either party until an agreement is made on the sale
of the item. This can provide another level of privacy if that is desired. Future versions
will also allow the purchase of a link to your personal or business website and the
ability to post pictures (either via link or by uploading images to your account).
If there are other features you would like to see in the classifieds,
please send your comments to us. Your input is valuable as it
helps define the line between ease of use and any privacy/security concerns you may have.

Phase 1 Details
Phase 1 of the online classifieds is your basic classifed ad. It allows you to enter
the details of the item or service you want to sell and a good description. There are
many categories and subcategories to choose from when placing your ad. The contact
area is there to provide WarrenToday staff the ability to contact you should there be a
question concerning your ad. Depending on how your item is for sale this information can
be posted on your ad as well. For example if selling items that you will mail to the buyer,
there is no need to post your address, but for a rummage/garage sale, the address is very
important.
As with all data collected by WarrenToday or NetCove, your data is
considered private unless you choose to have it displayed. This data is not shared with any
other company or service or used to contact you for any reason beyond your ad.
As this is a new service there may not be many items for sale here for a little while.
So please if you have items for sale, please post them here and check back often for others
doing the same.
